For decades, state DOT’s have used guide rail cable systems to prevent vehicles from “running off road right.” Today, in addition to roadside applications a variety of cable guide rail systems have been developed to reduce or eliminate often catastrophic cross median accidents.
Since state DOT's began building guide rails along our nation’s highway, thousands of lives are saved each year by median and right side of road guide rail cable.
